Booking, Rescheduling & Cancellations
Are their age restrictions for the photo shoot?
There are no age restrictions for the photo shoot. We’ve had babies from 2 months old to grandpa’. Just keep in mind that we shoot outdoors, but we will always find a way to make it work for your group! Visit our Family Photography page for more information.
Are their restrictions on the number of participants?
Groups of 10 or more require extra shoot time and may require payment in advance.
Are off-site photo sessions available?
Yes, we can travel anywhere on the island within 25 miles, and may require a travel fee of up to $100. Advanced payment for off-site photo sessions is required.
What is your rescheduling policy?
We ask that you provide us with at least 12 hours notice prior to changing an appointment. We will do our best to accommodate the change and reschedule you for a shoot at a later date or time. Please keep in mind, shoot availability is limited, and sessions are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
What is your photo shoot cancellation policy?
We ask that you provide us with at least 6 hours notice of cancelation prior to your scheduled photo shoot. While we don’t have a cancellation fee, we do have a $150 no-show fee.
Photo Sessions
What should I bring with me to the photo shoot?
You just need bring your awesome self and your best mood. We will do the rest. It is best if you leave bags and purses behind. We can always hold them for you in our studio while you head out for the session.
What should I wear for the photo shoot?
Most importantly, you should wear whatever feels comfortable. We recommend outfits with solid colors, this is because the scenic backdrops in Hawaii are busy (water, sky, trees, mountains, rock, etc). A lot of people opt for bright colors or whites, both are great choices. We do recommend sandals which are easy to take off to get your feet wet or sandy for the beach shots.
Where do I need to go for the photo session?
Once we book the session, we will send you an email confirmation telling you where to meet with your photographer at the start of your session. We will usually meet at a hotel’s lobby by our desk.
What happens if there is bad weather?
Hawaii’s weather is very unpredictable, which is why we don’t usually make a decision until a few hours before your photo shoot’s start time. If the weather isn’t cooperating, we will call you to reschedule your session.
What happens if I am late for my photo shoot?
If there isn’t a session scheduled after yours, you get lucky and the photographer would stay with you longer. However, the photographer is usually scheduled for multiple back-to-back shoots, which means it would shorten your session.
Photo Quality, Photo Delivery, Photo Sharing
What is the image quality of the photos produced?
The photos are taken in high resolution, which means you could print a canvas and the photo would be crisp. Typically 5-11MB per image.
In what forms are the images available?
You will receive the images in JPEG format.
What happens if I cannot come in for a viewing session?
We love to have you come in for the whole experience of the viewing session as we usually have a surprise for you. However, if you absolutely cannot make it, we can upload all the watermarked images to an online gallery where you will be able to view the photos and select your favorites for up to 2 weeks. For this option, we require a non-refundable deposit of $350, which is applied toward your ultimate purchase.
What if I lose my pictures, do you have a backup?
Absolutely. We will always e-mail you the link to your online gallery, which remains available for 6 months after your photo session.
Pricing, Packages & Tipping
How much do the photos cost?
Individual edited images start at $79 per image. We also offer packages in which the price point per image drops down significantly. Packages start at $495*.

How much should I tip my photographer?
Tipping your photographer is appreciated, but always completely at your discretion. If you think your photographer did a great job, definitely show them your appreciation.
